HUD Problem, please help!
The next day, they told me that they tried installing a new button but it didn't fix anything. At this point, they told me that a new HUD would be needed so I gave them the OK to order a replacement from GM.
Fast forward the weekend until today and they called me and told me that a new HUD is impossible to get because GM has discontinued the HUD's for the C5 and they couldn't get one anywhere else. So now they tell me that they have to take out my HUD and send it to some GM-certified electronics repair center to get the HUD repaired there.
Anyhow, I would really appreciate if someone can give me feedback on this issue and what I should be concerned about. Many thanks!

Here's my feedback: the dealer is full of $h!+.
Here on the forums, a huge GP of HUDs is going on RIGHT NOW,
and Josh doesn't seem to have any problem getting the units:

Sounds like your dealer is trying to cheap out on replacing the
HUD unit by trying to get yours fixed. I'd call the district rep
and give him an earful!!
