Brake Pads That Include Shims?
Quick Question: Which brake pads come with new shims when purchased? My car will need new track pads soon, and I'd like to replace my worn out shims along the way (if possible). I've heard rumors that Delco and Hawk pads do, but I can't confirm.
BTW: If anyone has an extra set laying around PM me, I want them.
Came With Shims:
- Delco
- Carquest
No Shims:
- Hawk
- Carbotech

Just so I know what u are talking about, when u say "shims" is that the same as those steel clips that come w/ the Delco pads?

Yes, they're sometimes called retainers I believe. 3/caliper on the fronts.
