Default anyone have instructions for installing a haltech super trap

I believe that my car came wiith a haltech trap or super trap.

It looks like 2 air bridges with the maf in between them. The filter hangs down low.

My concern is that whoever did the install, set it up so that you can only use 2 screws to hold the plastic cover over the rad to the front bumper.

Is this how it is supposed to be done

I just went thru this. I sent an E-mail to Halltech and asked them for the instructions and, after they tried to sell me a new one, they refered me to a site that had the installation instructions, which I down loaded. Unfortunately the printout dosen't identify the site address and I don't have a scanner. Besr advice - e-mail halltech.

Thanks for the video...however...my filter I believe is a super trap...it has one more plastic part that extends the filter down much lower into the nose of the car.

My concern is whether the rad shroud should be cut.

Whoever installed this in my car simply left 3 of the 5 screws out at the bottom of the shroud, so the filter is just wedged in there.

It doens't look great from the bottom of the car.

I was wondering if Haltech instructions called for cutting the shroud like the vararam?

Anyone?
