GM Part # 3634770 is the recommended Weatherstrip Lubricant. Based on DuPont Krytox.

To revitalize tired grey rubber:
1) CLEAN it with weak solution of Simple Green, then straight water, till it is CLEAN. Discoloration is often from layers and layers of old products all dried and nasty on there. Clean clean clean till the damp rag is no longer discolored when you wipe down the seals.
2) Aerospace 303 protectant. This makes it look 'new'. Not black, not shiny, actually nice and new.
3) wipe down with damp cloth and re-apply Aerospace 303 every 2-3 months

Enjoy new-looking seals !

I can only report my experience with GM dielectric grease. I have applied it to my 2003 Corvette rubber every year for the past 15 years. I apply it a little thick, let it set overnight, then wipe off the excess. The rubber looks better than when it was new and it still springs back to original shape when you open the doors, remove roof, etc.

I have been using Shin-Etsu Silicone grease sold by Honda pn# 08798-9013, been using it on all my vehicles for years even my 86 Mazda PU, weatherstripping is still like new. It comes in a 100 gm tube so it will last a long time. https://www.ebay.com/i/170986796518?...3D170986796518
