Default Question on head bolts -- please help!

I purchased two sets of head bolts from a local performance shop. Of the ten large bolts, both kits are missing the (2) shorter bolts. I know that the head bolts cannot be re-used due to the installation taking them to yield. But, can the shorter bolts be re-used? Of course it's 4:30 here and the shop is closed so I cannot ask them. The strange thing is both kits were identical ... (8) of the larger long bolts, and (5) small bolts.

Please help!

Never mind guys ... after looking at the boxes (both sets) three or four times I realized there is a little label on the side that lists specifically the two shorter bolts. Seems BOTH kits had been pilfered of these bolts at the local shop (both boxes were open -- silly me for trusting them, huh?). Hopefully it was just an honest mistake and they'll give me my money back.

At any rate -- a local AutoZone had a set in stock, and the head is back on!

(LoneStar -- thanks for the bump anyways!)

Head is back on so this answer doesn't help the original poster out, but it answers the original question: NO, I do NOT believe you can re-use the shorter head bolts - All head bolts, long big ones, shorter big ones, and smaller head bolts must all be replaced and cannot be reused.
