You can't run a 2006 Z06 90mm intake manifold with 806 heads. They have cathedral ports and the new Z06 manifold is designed to fit square port heads like the LS7.
IMHO a better intake would be an LS6 intake.

As far as a good mid-range cam, I vote for a TR224. You'll also need springs. I'd suggest 918's.
