Spinning the balancer off!!
Has anyone else experienced problems with the balancer loosening up under hard pulls? I know that when I installed the head/cam setup that I set the balancer back on per the OEM instructions and using the GM tools. It seems to have been fine for the last couple of months. From what I can guess at it appears that when I hit the spray the crank is starting to spin in the balancer which would cause the bolt to reverse its direction and loosen the bolt. I guess it doesn't like 550 ft. lbs of torque! Any feedback would be appreciated.
