Default PCM Code

I am getting a 0443 code with a check engine light. When I go into the DIC it shows up as an H code. If I clear it it will not happen for a day or maybe 2 weeks it seems to be very random. Can anyone help?

that's an EVAP emmissions code. Check the gas cap first, but could be one of the sensors on the fuel rail, or in the EVAP canister in the back. Or a leak in the fuel system.

That is an EVAP emmissions code but more of an electronic control message. The PCM grounds the EVAP solenoid to turn it on. The PCM checks the state of the signal to see if it is at 0VDC when the PCM commands the EVAP solenoid on, and checks to see if the signal returns to 12VDC when the PCM commands the EVAP off. If there is a break or bad connection anywhere in the EVAP solenoid circuit the PCM will detect this problem and set this code. First check the plug on the EVAP solenoid. Your profile didn't say what year your car is, but the solenoid is probably under the fuel rail near the #1 fuel injector.
