I thought I had read that somewhere. Wonder why it doesn't have the 4L80E? Too big maybe?

Too HEavy, Takes More power to turn it and since the Corvett comes in at 3100 pounds I see no need for it. I build 4l60E's for dragracers/Streeters and they are holding in a couple of cars that are running twin turbo's and are pumping out 900+ Horsepower. The 4l80 "E" are just fine. 700r4's are somewhat of a problem.

Check my sig for specs. I've been over 400 rwhp for two years an a stock A4. I DO NOT drag race the car but I do road race very often. Really depends on how much you intend on abuseing the trani.
