My friend gave me his AFPR for my wife's '97 as he is selling his car. Because he lost the instructions and haven't adjusted the fuel pressure regulator since he bought the regulator 3 years ago, he doesnt remember how to adjust it. Does anyone know how to adjust it (how many turns) and which way to turn to lean and which way to turn to rich the fuel mixture? TIA!
I think you will need a Fuel pressure gauge to monitor how the adjustments are going. Once you have that hooked up it will be no problem figuring out how to adjust the pressure.

Dohh! I forgot all about the fuel pressure gauge. Thanks vetterdstr!
check your stock pressure before you put on the adjustable unit.Set the new unit to the stock pressure and tune from there. Dont go lower than 50psi. All pressure readings are w/vac line off the regulator and at idle.
Have a quick question. Whats the difference between the AFPR and a MAT Translator? Does both do the same function and is one better than the other? TIA!
