catalitic converter

GOOD EVENING ALL.

WILL IT BE A GOOD IDEA TO REMOVE THE catalitic converter FROM THE CAR. I AM CURINTLY RUNNING BORLA SYSTEM WITH A TRUE X PIPE?.

You can remove it, however, I don't think it is a "good" idea. Against fed. law, increases pollution, exhaust will smell like rotten eggs, and HP gain with stock engine is minimal. If you are after more HP, put on hi-flo cats. My .02.

you will need to define what a "GOOD IDEA" means to you. i have no cats, a few extra hp with no issue.
