X -pipe question.

Is there a reason to use an x pipe with the headers ,more horse power
better flow or nothing but sound for the headers.

if you do long tubes, you need one as the stocker is way to big. Also its a delete for cats, which are usless.

The x pipe will smooth out some of the popping upon deceleration.
