i put the wilwood BB kit on the car. 6 piston front-4 piston rear on 18in HRE 547's. so if ya got these wheels your good to go. install wasnt too bad. the hardest part was getting the calipor bracket off. i didnt have much room to get leverge on the torque wrench since the cars on jack stands. finished up the install and went for a ride. i finally turned down the radio and i hear- WAP_WAP_WAP. o *****. so i drive home and jack her back up. one of my SS brake lines was hitting the tire weight. moved that and all is fine ya my wheels need a polish
Does anyone know if this setup is lighter than the stock setup?
Bigger usually isn't lighter, but with the aluminum hats they could be.
Probably a wash - but I don't know for sure.
the advantage of the WWs are really when you hit the track. I couldn't tell any difference on the street. On the track they shine like diamonds. Repeatable, almost completely eliminate taper etc. etc.

I love mine even on the street. Did some WOT calibrating with a WR O2 the other day (amazing how fast 400rwhp gets you in a few seconds) and those brakes amazed me. Still have my '01 with stock brakes and the difference is night and day. Not just in the overall stopping power, but in the feel and consistancy.
If I had purchased them, I would have taken weights, but since they came on the car I was just curious. Previous owner did some other mods that save weight (CF hood, headers, non-runflats). I'm just interested in figuring out what it must weigh as well as the difference in unsprung weight.
