Default Lowering the C5?

I have looked the DIYs and did a google search but want to make sure before I do this today. The rear bolts get turned clockwise to lower the car and the front bolts get turned counter clockwise to lower.......................Correct? Thanks

See http://www.z06vette.com/diy_lower.php

I cranked my front bolts down to the bump stops (5-1/2 turns) and then backed off 1/2 turn. The rears were cranked 4 turns. Waited for a bit of driving time and had it aligned.

you need to turn the rears counter-clockwise...ie lengthen the bolt.

You need to turn each front adjuster and each rear adjuster the same amount, or you will screw up the corner balance of the car. In other words, if right-front will turn 5 turns, and left-front will only turn 3 turns, then you need to only turn them both 3 turns.

OK so both front and rear bolts get turned counter clockwise right? Thanks

Decrease the threads showing on the rear, leaving 1-2 visible above the nut. Increase them on the front, leaving the bushing turned out 1/4 turn. That will get you started.

Im sorry, you are right, Both the rear and front bolts get turned counter clockwise. Otherwise if you were to turn the rears clockwise you would be raising the rear.
