Default Tire size question

Can anyone answer this question? I have 245 45 17 front tires and today I have 275 40 18 on the rear, if I change the rear tires to 295 45 18 will I have problems with the speed sensors or does the car allow for this much of a difference? I have figured just under 50 revs per mile slower due to the tire size change? Can any one confirm this... Also how well does the 295 45 18 tire "F1 Goodyear fit" on the 9.5" rear rim, any problems with this?

Thanks

You should use a 295/35-18, which is the stock C5 Z06 rear tire size. It'll be a tight fit on your wheel but you won't have any computer issues with it. It's the correct diameter.

The 295 series tire will fit on your stock wheel but it is not optimal. You really need a 10.5 wheel for that size and up to 315s. Having said that it will not affect your speed sensors or anything else. I am running a 205/35 -18 Toyo on the back and 265/40-17 Toyo in the front and I have no problems what so ever. I did opt to buy new wheels though so the tire would fit properly. Hope this helps you out some.
