Default Heated 02 Sensor

I have a 2002 6sp. I'm constantly getting a code on my DIC reading "DTC POI33 H C" It says it's Slow response Heated 02 sensor. What exactly does that mean? I recently had headers and Stingers installed is there a connection? I would like to know what I'm talking about before I take it to the dealer. Thanks for you're time...

Either you have a bad o2 sensor or they left it unpluged

I had this same code and it gave me fits for a while.

I changed all 4 when I put the KB on, the pass rear was cross threaded and it was a $%#@#! to get back in... but that wasn't the one throwing the code in the first place.

After I changed them all the code came back ~20 miles later, I had it erased and it came back again... then went away on its own and hasn't been back in ~200 miles.

Just find out which one it is and change it out.

Right now , both of my O2 sensors are bad from running race gas and 118k miles .

The car will not idle at all during cold starts but seems to be ok
once the car warms up .

If your car dosnt idle on cold starts or runs like doodoo then i would have them replaced , but like jbuerke142 said , it might be a ghost in the machine .

It should be the opposite I would think, since the O2's arent used until the car is warmed up and goes into closed loop. Then it runs on the O2 sensors.

If you are getting slow response codes, just replace both O2s.

When I put on headers, I put the rear sensors in the front spot, since the rear sensors have a hotter heating element. But you will have to get an adapter for the plug. Never had a code ever since the new rear O2s went into the fronts.
