I think you're probably right. But, there are answers to questions that have been asked before. What's my Vette made of, fiberglass? Also, how much do certain items weight?

Click HERE for a much larger 97-02 parts manual. It is 124MB PDF I found out on the Internet a few years back. It has about 500 more pages than the one listed above.

Click HERE for a 1997-1998 Chevrolet Corvette Collision Repair Manual

Click HERE for the same T-56 Borg Warner Tremec Transmission manual as above. Note this manual is for the front mount transmission, not the C5 transmission but the guts is pretty much the same.

Get BANDWIDTH EXCEEDED when trying to download first 3 pdfs listed even with a fast link. Whats going on here? Any alternate URLs?

Since the bandwidth was exceeded on the above links I added the "Dismantling Manual" to my site and that can be found HERE, I did not have that manual, thanks 2KFRC5

Look at post #10 above for links to the same transmission manual, and a newer parts manual than the first post.

While I agree that the manual is nice to have, our website has a catalog lookup tool. It has mostly, the most up to date part numbers and the up-to-date pricing.
