I am going to be replacing rotors and pads in the next few weeks, and need some ideas for which pads to use.
I purchased a set of drilled and slotted rotors, but I'm not sure which pads to use. I want something that will not be too dusty or noisy, but will work well on the street, with some minor roadcourse use.
I've been looking at the EBC Redstuff pads for the fronts, and the OEM pads for the rears. Is this a good/bad idea, and recomendations for better pads?
I'd second the above. Those will be OK for LIGHT roadcoursing... they'll fade pretty quickly though for heavy tracking (I've tried the HPS and didn't care for them at all on track).
I like AC/Delco durastop ceramics for for the street ...
Essentially no dust.
When I Auto-x I use separate tires/wheels and then slip in the Hawk HP + pads.... some noise and dusty BUT they have GRIP
