Assuming that you are talking about a dyno tune, you have to turn off the traction control or when the wheels start spinning the dyno drums the engine will reduce power thinking that you are spinning.

looking at the graph, the top halfs blue line is engine rpm. Notice the A4 WOT shift happening in the center... about 5600rpm.
Then look directly below at the botton half. In that graph the blue line is timing. Notice that during the WOT RPM wind-up, the advance is around 26 to 28 degrees. Then at the shift point, timing is pulled... so much so that it actually is in the retard (minus) region
