Power Steering Fluid
Yeah what type will work well? I need to get some in the next couple minutes so I cannot get the GM stuff. Any suggestions?

Yes synpower is good, especially if you have a power steering cooler (Z51, Z06 etc)

I planned on flushing my 01 PS out this week sometime and I purchased Prestone PS fluild (32 oz - since it said that what it would take to the then entire system) but its regular PS fluid for GM vehicles. I wonder if I should take it back to Wally World and look for the synthetic? I don’t race and only drive her on the nice weekends.
Would it be worth it for me to change to synthetic? Any using the Prestone now?

So do we think regular Prestone PS fluid is fine as long as it says for GM cars? (2001 z51 - non racer - weekend ride only).
I assume GM uses Reg. fluid instead of synthetic - Right?
