I have a 2001 6 speed that when you turn on ignition all dash lights flicker and it reads low voltage I checked the battery and it was showing 12.7 on the volt meter it done this a few times in the past but now it is at least ever other time i try to start it there has been a few times it died going down the road but then started right up help please cant afford to have dealership experiment

Follow the leads from the battery and make sure they are firmly
attached at both ends, particularly the lead to the starter.

Best advice i can give you is to check every cable (battery to starter, starter to alternator, battery to frame, battery to block, etc....) and look for a loose connection or a corroded connector. Always a good starting point. It is important to give the cables a little tug to make sure that they are firmly attached to the connector.
There is a ground pack in the rocker pannel by your left foot, in front of the dead peddal and underneath your hood latch where the grounds for the dash are located. Another one on the other rocker pannel where the grounds for the PCM and Interior fuse pannel is located. the Electrical information sticky at the top of this forum also has a lot of good information.
