I bought all 4 rotors and pads for my 99. Is there anything different I need to do compared to a regular car? A few shops I called say its more complicated trying to charge me more. I'd rather do it myself if it isn't too complicated.

I just did this (and painted the calipers) 3 days ago and posted finished pics. In my post I commented how well engineered the fit was on these cars and how easy they are to take apart and put back together. A good DIY project. Whoever tried to rip you off with Corvette Tax either hasn't ever done a C5 or is jerkin' your chain.

The corvette is the easiest car I have owned to work on the brakes.
Done it dozens of times, not hard at all. Just make sure you have a decent torque wrench for the abutement plate/spindle bolts, they call for a stout torque specification. Also, don't forget the red Loctite for the same bolts. Good luck!
