***Improved Performance From Plugs and Wires***
Hi,
I ordered a set of MSD Ignition Wires and NGK Iridium Plugs last week from LAPD, and all I can say is that the combination has exceeded any expectations that I could've imagined; I have a '97 A4 and after installing these, the car shifts from gear to gear seamlessly and extremely smoothly.
I never thought that I'd feel a difference, but the car feels like a different ride altogether...very smooth acceleration and slightly better gas mileage.
I originally was going to get stock wires and Bosch plugs, but after speaking with Shawn about his endorsement and experience with this newly-recommended combo, I was convinced, and now, very pleased.

I've seen stock units all over the map on gap, from the factory.
How did your old plugs look? What gap did you use on the new ones?

Unfortunately, stock wires and plugs are not up to par on some cars....mine included. I noticed a difference too! I dig the MSD wires...those oversized boots really help when doing plug changes.

I have less than 30k miles, and the stock plugs looked surprisingly clean.
I had my personal mechanic install them, and he said he followed GM required specs...not sure if there was any tweaking or not.
