Default Reduced engine power, Shocks Inoperable, Service Traction Control????

For the last 2 days, EVERY time I start my vette, I get the Check Tire Pressure, reduced Engine power, Maximum speed 80mph, Service Tracion Control, etc.... Anyone have any clue what is wrong?? Im suspecting I might need a new BCM?! any help would be appreciated thanx

You need to check for DTCs and list them here. If you don't know how to do that see:

I cant pull any codes.....all it says it "No Comm." which I'm assuming is No Communication with the computer??!

i tried disconnecting the battery, and that didnt work, anyone???!!!!

My stem had a leak and went down to 17 psi and you could barely tell it was flat

check your start conectors they are located under the passanger side kick panel. See the sticky at the top of the page.

When this happens., Is the dashboard now lit up those symbols like service engine now, and goes away after you turn off the engine and restart?

Yes all the symbols are lit after the car is started, and every idiot message flashes on the DIC, and it goes away after i restart it then comes on again.....

sounds like you have F45 suspension...I got all those codes when one of my shocks went bad.

Yes I have F45 You had all the symptons my vette had cause of one of the shocks went bad??? How could I check?? Thanx

I have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM and have the F45 suspension. Have been dealing with it for a while since the messages appear only once a month. Very first "money-saving" diagnositics:

1. clean the under hood ground contacts (
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/showthread.php?t=896875 awesome info supported with pics ..)
2. check the accordion style pipes near the door openings, they contain some wires and contacts that tend to go loose.

I did the 2 above and the problem still persists. Will be visiting the stealership soon since it means the shocks are bad. Anyone have any idea how much it will cost $$? Do I have to replace all shocks or only the one that is bad?

Have you tried this again ?? If so, and you're getting the NO COMM message, that would indicate the IPC has communication problems ... but then I don't know how you're getting gauge readings if the IPC is in a NO COMM condition. Or, are you getting output from some computers, but one is coming back NO COMM ??

Try for codes again ... something doesn't sound right.
