Default Winshield washer won't work.......

Wifes 98 C5 windshield washer will not work. The wipers work but no fluid will come out of the washer, there is no sound of the washer motor even attempting to work. I'm sure the fuse is ok because the wipers work. Any ideas????

Thanks,
Klammer

Check pump. Remove the two 10mm bolts holding the tank down

Press the wash and check to if pump works ? if not then check to see if it's getting power when you push the button on stalk with a test light.

If no power, you'll probably need to replace stalk.

Mine mysteriously stopped working a few weeks ago while I was troubleshooting my BCM issue....I don't think the switch just went all at once...wondering if its a ground or lose connection in my column since I had that all apart. Back to the drawing board!

Hello all,

Finally got a chance to check the vette. Got out the service manual & checked the plug as was suggested here. Turned out the washer pump was burned out. $50.52 at the local dealer and all is well.

Thanks for the help,
Klammer
