I have a black 01 coupe. This past Sunday the car was out in the sun all day. When I came back to my car I found that my headliner had come completely off and was just laying in my front seat.
Question: What is the best adhesive to use that will hold it in place?
I recently relocated to the Houston area and the summer months are apparently pretty harsh. So....any adhesive I use should handle high temps.
I live here in S. Calif. and temps here in the summer can be boiling hot. My '99, Black on Black, burns inside during the summer or so it feels like it. Not once have I had any headliner issues and hope I don't. I'm wondering if someone replaced yours for whatever reason and used the wrong adhesive? No, have no idea what the proper adhesive would be either.
I never had the problem until I ended up working a contract in Phoenix most of last year, the summers there are brutal....at least for a boy from the south east. The headliner would sag in the heat of the day.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
Do you have an actual Headliner or, the "static cling" matrix??
