exhaust gaskets
hey guys, Im new to the forum but have a question about changing over to a z06 system. Has anyone had to change the gaskets from the over the axle pipe flange or does the factory gasket survive the swap.
where is the best place to get new one. thanks in advance

When I dropped my exhaust, the front gaskets survived, but the back ones did not.

If you are talking about the flange gasket that goes between the x-pipe ( or H pipe) and the flange of your aftermarket exhaust, they do not show up in most Autoparts catalogues. I took my old one in and manually, physically matched it....
I got aftermarket rear exhaust gaskets at Autozone...
69 cents each... No Corvette tax....

exhaust gaskets
thanks for the info on the gaskets. Just bought a set at local stealership for 8 bucks each. if the autozone gaskets are just as good I will buy those and take back the GM ones. they are unopened, guess it should not be a problem. what is the best way to get the car up high enough to get the system off the car.
