Default Clutch Shutter Gone When Car Shuts Off After New Engine, Problem?

As the question states above i just put in a cast iron 408 and am using the same exedy clutch. Every corvette that i have ever been in makes that shutter noise when you shut off the engine if the car is in neutral. My noise is now gone. I am happy, but want to know if i should be concerned. The car drives and shifts normally. Did the extra weight change something. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Thanks for any help!

extra weight can make sense, there is more mass to absorb the vibration. just like adding sound deadner to a panel that resonates. but thats just a guess

I dont know, Even my 07 dodge ram does that crap. It has a t56 in it and an inline steel 5.9 cummins diesel. It will rock the whole truck in neutral with clutch out. Im sure it weighs substantially more in every aspect than your 408 even. but when you push the clutch in it will lessen the effect by about half.
