Default logfile on the PCM

Hi guys,

a dubious Tuner here in Europe made me a adjustment on my PCM.
Now i wanted to get in the characteristic zone but no chance. He put a logfile on it!!!
Is there a possibility to delete the hole PCM?

PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I really have no idea what you mean.

As far as erasing the PCM, yes it can be reflashed. Dealerships can do this. Since I'm assuming you don't really have any Chevy dealerships there, you'd probably have to remove the PCM and send it to a dealership here in the US. There are dealership reps on this board that you could probably contact.

I am asumming what you mean is he tuned your car, and locked your PCM. If that is the case, and he wont give you the password then you need to have it reflashed by either a dealership, or another tuner who uses EFI LIve or HP Tuners

Oh I see, logfile == locked. That makes more sense. I think that is common practice among tuners - so people don't screw with their tunes (or copy them?).
