Default MAT Relocation HELP!

First of all I'm not extremely mechanically inclined, so with that said, the instructions I just got for the relocation of the MAT sensor absolutely SUCK.
No pictures, no diagrams and basically no help.
1) where is the original MAT sensor located?
2) Where do you remount the new one?

Stick it in the air bridge. you may need to drill a new hole if you've got the stock bridge, there is a boss on the passenger side of the bridge.

The stock MAT sensor is a wire that is plugged into the air bridge duct that connects your air filter to the throttle body. Looking at the engine from the driver's side you will see starting on the left

The air filter box, the air bridge duct, the accordian connector and the throttle body.

The MAT sensor is plugged into the air bridge on the drivers side in the back.

Now for the new MAT. It is usually relocated to the passenger side front of the air bridge. You may even see a flat spot on the air bridge that will be used to drill the required hole.

I am not sure of the size of drill bit but I would start out small and increase as if you go to big it will be too late.

Unclip the wire from the stock MAT plug location. This plug end then plugs into one end of the new MAT wire while the other end (with the filament and rubber grommet) plugs into the air bridge.

Hope this helps.

Chuck

Make sure you remove the duct from the car before you drill the hole, if not you will get plastic shavings sucked into the engine.

I think the hole is 7/16".

After you drill the hole, you may want to clean up the inside of the hole with a knife or a file.
