Hello!
We just finished up my H/C swap, but something strange is happening with the coolant.
If i start the car and let it idle for about 20 minutes, everythign is fine, it doesnt overheat or anything, but 2 times now right when it hits about 223 degrees or so it boils over. Now 223 isnt that hot, so i dont understand why its boiling over at that point, maybe i have air in the system? IM pulling my hair out trying to solve this one, but im out of clues, please help!
P.S. One time it did this with the coolant cap on, Second time coolant cap was off

If there is air in the system it will boil over. Start the car with the cap off, and turn the heat on, the air will escape if there is any in the system. Otherwise is the coolant 50/50?Originally Posted by eurospec1
