Car Alarm
My c5 alarm did a goofy thing last night. I was sittin out on the porch havin a smoke, about 11:00 pm and my car alarm went off all by itself. My Keys were in the house on the night stand and I was the only one out in the neighborhood. Any of you guys had this problem? I shut it off and reset and things are fine now. I also changed the battery in my key fob as they may have been getting bad. Thanks......

I have a C5 also, the other night it was raining and my alarm started to go off. I reset it and re-locked the car and a few minutes later it went off again. When I went outside I noticed the radio was playing too. After resetting for the second time it stayed off, however two days later it was raining again and the alarm went off again. Does anyone know what's going on?

The only help I could offer is that several members have posted that their horns would start honking for no apparant reason - in most all cases the problem was the horn switch in the steering wheel. The only temporary relief was to pull the horn fuse - the real fix was to repair/replace the horn switch, which involves mucking around the airbag...
