98 C5 A/C question
The a/c system appeared to be contaminated as the expansion valve screen was clogged. Anyway, I replaced the condensor, accumulator, and put in a new a/c pump and flushed all the lines.
The question is in flushing the evaporator. Is there a special way that one flushes the C5 evaporator? I have access to the evaporator inlet via the expansion valve port fitting and a line going to the accumulator for the evaporator outlet. Do you flush outlet to inlet or inlet to outlet? I am concerned that I can get out all of the flushing solvent properly.
Also, at the end of flushing, do I blow 3 oz of PAG150 oil into the evaporator (all the other components have new oil loaded) or load the evaporator oil in the accumulator?
