Default lowering ? cutting bushings.

i have lowered my vette on stock bolts, but i want to go a little lower in the front, how would i go about cutting the bushing in the front, do you have to take the leaf spring out? or can you cut it while on the bolt? any help would be great!

Im sure you can get the bushing out whithout taking it apart, but im sure it wont be easy as it has load on it.

The lower A-arm has to be dropped in order to get the bolt out of the spring to cut the bushing.

I did mine without taking anything apart. Jack up, remove wheels ,put small jackunder end of leaf spring, through a arm, & lift spring to remove tension, then you will be able to see the bushing, I used a pointed keyhole drywall saw to cut 2/3rd off bushing . then turn bushing bolt all the way counterclockwise so the most threads are showing above the spring, back off 1/4th turn or so. Then put wheels on. lower car & drive it to let it settle & thats it. For a point of ref. My fender wells are 26 in. off ground after cutting 2/3rds. Each side took about 10- 15 min.
