Default 403RWHP on Mustang Dyno Corrected

I have a feeling it will make the 400 mark, depending on air. What do I get if I win?

And I had a very similar setup that made 395 on a dynojet...

Don't get caught up in the numbers, just make sure your A/F looks good. Trust me, the returns on these cars diminish quickly, and the only way to get more is to sacrifice drivability and $$$$$$. 375 rwhp is impressive, especially for the low cost.

If you really just want to see a big pretty number then put a blower on it.

It would help if you gave us the full specs on the cam and heads. I have a 224/224 on a 112LSA with .581 lift and Stage 2.5 5.3L heads running through catted longtubes and Z06 Ti's. I hit 317whp with a Vararam and Ti's, and with the whole package, I'm now at 410whp/390wtq. Are your heads LS6 heads? Are your Z06 wheels aftermarket ones that are significantly heavier? If so, they could cost you a few hp.

If you are running a 112LSA and LS6 heads, I would guess you'd hit 410-420, but dyno's can vary a whole lot. My 410 might pull 420 on someone else's dyno... Be sure to post your chart after you dyno.

That's not much of a prize!!!

The question would be did they do that with a dyno jet or a Mustang.

Oh not the ford Version!!

If you hit 395 on a Mustang dyno it would= about 435 on a Dyno jet with a 10% they show over the Mustang. So you should be happy!

95BlueBomber = please do when you have that conversation some time, remember to add the factor when talking Ford Version! It is always good for another 10% over any know Numbers!

What is the lift and LSA on the cam? If it's the .581" then 377rwhp, if it's the .568" then 369rwhp. put it on a DynoJet and 405rwhp and 394rwhp. These of course are rough estimates and completely wild guesses.

Dr Evil: You just don't get it do ya Scott?

He's telling you Mustang #'s and you are comparing it with Dynojet Z06 #'s. Again Mustang #'s < Dynojet #'s. A stock Z06 won't put that down on a Mustang dyno.

Maybe it's a little on the conservative side, but it was just an guesstimate. So when are you going to finally post numbers?

It doesn't take more than an hour or so to dyno???

Don't worry about your numbers! Mike at Straightline will get the most out of your car while maintaining drivaility and reliability. That is the most import thing. Good luck tomorrow i may see you there. they've been dynoing my car for the last week and ran into a prob 2 days ago so hoping my new part is in today or tomorrow to finally dyno it and take it home.
