Default Shorties vs. Long Tubes?

What difference in gains are to be expected between the two? I don't expect exact numbers, just a general idea for investment sake

Personally I have seen very little gains reported when going to shorty headers. Unless I lived in a state where they were the only alternative I would go with long tubes hands down.

Lots of threads on this subject, always a mixed bag. Below is one of them.

long tubes, anything else is better investest else where. my reasoning is install prices, im not paying 400-500 to install something that im lucky to see 5-10 rwhp worth of gains

I asked a similar question when I was new to the Forum, and the response I got was:

Shorty headers =

LT's =
