Gap between A-pillar cover and dash

Is it possible to adjust the gap between the A-pillar covers and the top of the dash? I wanted to get some feedback before tearing into this mess.

I don't have a gap on my car. Therefore it is probable that you can move one or the other to eliminate the gap.

The pillars just pull off and don't have any adjustment to them. If you have a gap its because of your dash pad. You do have a little play in the bolt alignment; maybe 1/4 inch and you will have to push or pull as you tighten it back down. Post a pic of how yours looks. Any gap where the radio bezel meets the pad on the right side?
