I recently put in the Vararam Intake. After putting in the intake I have been getting -36 degrees on the outside temp. It has fixed itself temporarily. But now it won't read right at all. Its -36 degrees all the time. So now the A/C will not work. The outside temp sensor is connected. I did go out there and unplugged it to see if it would read 52 degrees as I have read on my searches. It doesn't. It still reads -36 degrees.
Do you have to jumper the connector to get it to read 52 degrees. Don't really care if I get the outside temp to work now. I just want to A/C to work.

You need a new sensor, The -36 reading is a default code for the sensor being bad. I just changed mine today, My sensor was reading 69 which is another default code. The dealer should have them in stock as mine did since they are a normal thing to fail. I spent $14.00 after tax for the sensor.
Once you have the new sensor in you have to drive the car for 2 to 3 minutes at speeds above 30MPH for it to set itself.
