Headlight Problems
My 99 frc with 115k is having headlight troubles. The headlight doesn't work half of the time. From what I understand it may be a stripped gear. It makes noise when it doesn't work. Does anyone know if the replacement gears fix the problem and how hard it is to do? Thanks in advance for your help.

It definitely could be the gear, if not I had an obscure problem with mine. The small rivet looking fastener that connects the actuating arm to the entire h/l assembly was missing and the arm was wigling around not pushing on anything. Rigged it up with a nut/bolt/locktite and all was well....

there is a kit on ebay with a bronze gear replacement. I did this to mine after my car got the "lazy eye". The installation took about 1 hour and the instructions were of great assistance. Porblem solved. expect to spend about $40 on the kit and shipping.
