Code P0751 ??

I'm getting this code regularly P0751 it activates the check engine light and it s always whith the H an histoty code . I delete it and its fine till the next time.
Question, I have a list of codes 8 pages but this one is not listed.
What is it and why those it come on so often ?

Thanks I alreaday have this list, and unless I'm blind I still cant find code P0751 on it.

do you have an aftermarket torque converter? do a search for P0751 - if i Remember correctly it's an indication that one of your trani selenoids ( 2-3 shift?? ) is slipping.

Yes I do ,This code started poping up after the recent install.

I found it.

P0751 1-2 shift solenoid valve performance.

How do I fix this ? the tune was done by DIABLO can this be fixed by modifying the tune.

I have a 3600 and the code comes up every other month or so - always as a history (H ) code. It's a common occurance and other than being a PIA it really isn't anything to worry about. Because the TC delays your shifts the computer "thinks" there's slipage - but there isn't - it's just symtomatic of the way the TC "appears" to the computer. Reset the code. If I remember right if you have HPTuners ( I do ) you can turn the fault code off - I don't because if the selenoid really goes ( and you get a current ( C) code I'd like to know about it). Again "search" is you friend.
