SLP Loudmouth Exhaust sounds great at idle and all rpms if you want something really loud.
Cliff, where'd you hear those?????
I have the SLPs and love them. I just went with the cat-back, no headers, no h-pipe. If I every get around to replacing this old laptop, I'll get a wav. file put on my website.
Try to find an event in your area and listen for your self. Good luck.
I forgot where I heard em... ;)
I think they were on a black vert that got banned from Cracker Barrel because his exhaust was too loud
Dave, nice homepage - you know I have a friend who drives a red C4 (w/Borlas) around NN/hampton with plates almost the same as yours (YOU LOSE or UD LOSE, I think ).
I've tried to make one or two of those cruises but always had scheduling problems, but I think you're right - I really need to hear what's out there before I make a decision (and no, I don't think I'm going to go with straight headers, although if the cops weren't so uptight around here it may have been an option, hehe :jester), so I think I'll start keeping up on the SE board again and see if I can make the next one
From what I can tell in the mpgs I've heard, I'm most impressed with the B&B PRT-1s and the straight pipes (SLPs and XR1s), and if I can get away with something that loud then it's probably what I'll end up with. :yesnod: Thanks everyone for the replys
I have the Loudmouths & love them..I have the inserts in to please the wife, but would run them straight if she'd let me. Borlas sound great to....the way I describe them is 60's rumble at idle and low rpm...screams like a banshee at WOT. Loud they are! :yesnod:
