I have found a set of the new style Zo6 wheels for my 2000 coupe. Chrome with 18 in the front and 19 in the rear. My question is the back tires he has 325-30-19 on there. Will this wide tire hurt any performance??? Will it be harder for my car to break the tires loose or will the still spin if I want them too??? The tires are about 80% life left and he is willing to sell them to me for 800. Good Deal??????

The wider the tire(street tire) the easier it will be to break the tires loose. The smaller the width the more traction you will have.
Not a bad price depending on the condition of the wheels, and what type of tires.

Wait What?!?
Ok, well, as far as I know, the wider the tire the more traction you will have. I think you got it all backwards...
I am running 20x11 on my 02 Z06 with 325/25 20 Tires and I have WAY better traction than the stock 295s that came with the car. The car also has much better lateral acceleration.
I checked on tirerack.com and the only tire they offer in a 325 30 19 is a Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar EMT which is 368 per tire brand new. So the biggest question is the tire wear even? If so its definitely worth it especially if the wheels are in good condition.
My two sense. Better Handling, Better Traction and better looks
Oh, I can still chirp my tires between third and fourth with my 325 25 20s.

This defies all logic, wider you will gain traction not loose it. The only real negative to a wider tire on the front is that you will loose turn in and it will ride the ruts in the road more.
the more rotating mass you add to the wheels and tires the more you are going to negatively impact performance. so bigger heavier wheel/tire packages will hurt performance...
as far as traction goes - wider tires are better for grip in the dry, but worse in the wet. narrower tires means more pounds per square inch down on the pavement when you need loads of pressure to keep you in place in the wet, while the wider tires will help in the dry cause they will adhere to the pavement better for linear traction...
