This concerns a 2001 coupe. Today the lighted mirror fell away from the sun-visor, and hung there from the electric wires. Shortly thereafter the other mirror dislodged from the other visor as well. Nothing appears to be broken on either one, but I’m not able to snap them back into place again, if that is even possible. Can someone help me with this dilemma.
Happened to mine 2 weeks ago on passenger side. My pins are all sheared/broken. I'l figure a way to secure and look good, just haven't thought how yet.
I did use some construction adhesive to "gliue" is back the the felt till my new one came it. It did hold but looked a little "lumpy". It's a funky design.
I did all four corners ... took some staring, pondering, drinking a beer or two, but it worked. The 'top' is prerry easy -- the holes are already there for you. For the "bottom" of the mirror (when the visor is in the down position) I actually drilled through the hard material in the visor (be careful not to punch through the fabric on the other side) and used a zip tie to fix the bottom as well.
I can,t understand how GM can build such a beautiful car and put crap parts like these sunvisors. Both mine fell off, I got some wide black elastic at Wal Mart and made a band big enough to slide over the visor. You can't even see the band(black) but the mirror isn't functional. Ecklers have them for about $100
My passenger side visor appears to have broken in half internally. Can anyone give me a source for replacement visors. I've checked eBay, there is only junk parts currently. Found it on Ecklers for about $90. Any other sources ?

Got mine at the dealer for $65. You might want to try here:
My 04 was sideswiped by some illegal driving a Yellow Cab in November...the car didn't get completely repaired until March. While there the windshield and dash had to be removed. Of course the windshield broke coming out. When I finally get the car back the visor lid on the passenger side has one clip that either broke off or came unclipped. Can't get it back in place. So I take it back to get it fixed because the light stays on and drags the battery down . The jackass can't fix it, won't replace it and puts some velcro on the lid and mirror to hold the switch down So I guess I'll have to pay the 100.00 and buy a new one
