Default exhaust performance dyno tests.

Are there any back to back dyno test results on stock vs. Z-06 ti. vs. aftermarket cat-back systems? I read a lot about improving the sound but not much about performance improvement. Also, any performance gain from K&N filters?

None of them do much for performance, especially on stock motors. All the claims form the makers are IMO.

The mafgrs. won't do real dyno tests becasue it wont stand up. And as far as owners are concerned, at 75.00 dollars for three pulls it can tend to get expensive trying to do a comparison of them all. Add to that the different types of dynos that will give different readings and you can see how it gets expensive and difficult.

Now the TI will help you a little due to the weight savings.

Find a custom welder/exhaust tech and you can create your own system if you are so inclined for less then half the cost of the production ones and save weight too. And it will sound as good or better.

Just my 2 cents worth
