Low Speed Fan Problem
I have been suffering with the above problem for weeks now. First I get the code that suggests a problem with the relay. So I swap out the low speed fan fuse & relay. Code goes away but fan still doesn't come on. I try to command the fan on via Hp Tuners but still no dice. I then assume the fan motor is dead. A friend hooks up the fan directly to a power source but is still doesn't come on so we figure the motor it is. I take it in for a replacement ( during which i encournter ANOTHER problem http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1751251 ), the tech calls me back says he cant figure it out. The wierd thing is he says that it powered on when using a direct power source but the pcm isn't powering it up. He says it may be because i have programmed both fans to come on the same time. So I go over there today and change the values. Still nothing. He said he will test the voltage coming out from the pcm to ensure there is no fault there. If the voltage is ok then the motor is definately the culprit or the wire to the motor. If not then the suspect the pcm itself.
