Default Trouble installing new SS brake lines

I have the LAPD-Goodridge SS brake lines. (LAPD-GOODRIDGE92206)
When I try to mate the brake line to the line on the car it will only hand tighten 1 revolution. The originals I can tighten severl revs. I am sure I have them mated square. I've tried over and over to make sure I've got them square. Just makes no sense to me. As much as I have tried, they will not screw in like I think they should. I can take the old rubber brake line and screw them into the new SS fitting just fine.

Those that have done this before, any thoughts?
I track the car or I would give up now.

Thanks,

John

Did you try several of the SS lines to see if they all fit the same? I don't think I would feel comfortable with only one turn. Maybe just the one line has screwed up threads.

I did try several. That's what is strange. I'm going to take a break and work on the other tasks. I pulled the radiator and am working on getting all the oil dry out of the AC condenser and radiator. New rotors and pads, and then I'll come back to this.

Maybe they sent the wrong part. I had this happen with my Wilwoods.

Try the stock one's againg and make sure that the screw down correctly and that uou have not cross threaded any of the fittings.

Definitely a fly in the ointment here somewhere. I installed the exact same ones you have and I had no issues.

Well a photo sent to LAPD cleared it up. I got a package with 2 C5 and 2 C6 brake lines.
I thought I was losing my mind. Anyway, that explains what was wrong.

Glad you got it straightened out. I had same problem with Wilwood for two weeks. They kept sending me the wrong part because their part list was wrong. Got say that Wilwood came through for me in the ned and overnighted the parts so I could get the car back together.
