Adjusting an adjustable clutch master cylinder?
I've modifed my stock clutch master cylinder to be adjustable to try to get a little more disengagement (i.e. longer rod length). My question is, how do I make sure I don't go so far as to getting the throw out bearing in permanent contact with the clutch fingers? Anyone know the typical gap there for an LS7 clutch and the Z06 slave? Bottom line I don't want to trash my throw out bearing with this adjustment.
Here is the thread related to me trying out the adjustable master. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1748916

If you carefully press in the pedal with the car running you can feel the difference between the spring/master resistance and the actual Slave bearing..
At least on my car if feels like a slight pulsing or vibration.. Use a bare foot to really feel it.. Just stay away from that feel....
