Default 370 cubic inch motor

370 cubic inch motor
i read an article a while back on a built 370 ci motor 11 to 1 comp. ratio with ls6 worked over heads in a c5 i believe. running in the high tens. i tried the search mode but could not find much on this setup. i currently have a frc with bolt ons, cartek clutch, dte stg2 rear, ls6 manifold. i also have a set of ls6 heads in the garage. could my motor be used to build a 370 ci motor how is it achieved increase bore? stroke? i feel when i get around to installing the heads and picking a cam the miles may be high so maybe a new motor with higher comp. ratio would produce a strong reliable car. that would run low 11's to high tens. i know most will suggest a 402 or 408 but i feel like it would cost more money and i feel my ls6 heads and intake manifold will be limiting a 402 or 408 and would prefer not to buy another set of heads and intake . sorry for all the questions so anybody with info or advice on this motor i i would love to hear about it. also what should i expect to pay for this setup and what power can expect out of built 370 ci with worked ls6 heads and strong cam. thanks guys looking forward to all who respond.

Most build a 370 by boring a 6.0l bloke use the stock crank with aftermarket pistons and rods.

If I were you I would take your stock block hone it .005 over and put a Callies rotating asymbly in it to make it 383ci. If you need more info just give me a call.

What is your budget? There are guys running in the 10's with 347's.

Cartek can port those LS6 heads and provide a cam that can get you there. Since you have the driveline taken care of I think low 11 or high 10's are very possible.
