upper seat belt retractor nut
HELP,
the upper seat belt retractor nut on a c5 conv. I can't get it loose,it isn't a left handed thread by any chance is it? I've got it so rounded off I may have to try and cut it some way, any suggestions?

It has a standard thread.
I know others have encountered difficulty removing them. Mine were quite tight but, came out without damage.
I would suggest a penetrating lubricant, if you haven't already tried.
