I have a question regarding X-pipes. I know there's a debate out here about whether they really increase horsepower. I've read articles that say they do but there's alot of opinion on here that seems to say they don't. Does anyone have any hard facts/articles/dyno tests to prove/disprove this theory.
Next question is: if I decide on one, does it matter if the brand matches up with my exhaust? I have a Borla dual tip Stinger setup. Would it matter if I got a Bassani X-pipe or do I need a Borla?

Check out this article and the table at the bottom. Seems like they are getting rwhp out of an X-pipe addition.
Not sure about Borla, but a Bassani x-pipe will work with any catback that will bolt to the factory h-pipe. I am currently running a Bassani X-pipe and B&B quad tip Bullets. Can't say I notice much difference in power, but theres most definately a difference in sound.

X pipes and Cat Backs are all interchangeable so choices are many
